Grafted Identity was released in 2021 as part of the Innistrad: Midnight Hunt expansion for Magic: The Gathering. Set in the gothic-horror inspired plane of Innistrad, the card reflects the set's central themes of survival and transformation amidst an eternal night. Mechanically, it functions as an enchantment that allows a player to gain control of a creature while modifying its power and toughness, reinforcing the flavor of stealing an identity or subverting the essence of an opponent's minion.
