Hazoret, Godseeker // Hazoret, Godseeker

Hazoret, Godseeker is part of the Aetherdrift Art Series, released as part of the Magic: The Gathering expansion set released in 2025. These cards are designed as collectible art prints rather than playable game pieces, featuring high-quality illustrations that showcase the character in a distinctive, stylized aesthetic. The series was created to highlight the narrative depth of the Aetherdrift storyline and the vibrant visual language established by the development team.

The artwork for this piece was commissioned to emphasize Hazoret’s role as a deity figure, balancing the intensity of the character’s presence with the unique visual requirements of the Art Series format. The design leans into a clean, gallery-style layout, stripping away the traditional card frame to allow the illustrator's work to occupy the entire card face. This approach has been well-received by collectors who value the aesthetic presentation of Magic's world-building over the tactical utility of the cards.
