Where it came from
The Helm of Kaldra was released in 2004 as part of the Fifth Dawn expansion for the Magic: The Gathering trading card game. It was designed as one-third of a legendary artifact cycle alongside the Sword of Kaldra and the Shield of Kaldra, which collectively represent the avatar Kaldra.
