The version included in the Masters 25 set, released in 2018 to celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of Magic: The Gathering, features the iconic original illustration by Christopher Rush. Rush, a foundational artist for the game, crafted the pup with a distinctively feral, snarling aesthetic that perfectly captured the card's volatile nature.
