Laquatus's Disdain was released in 2002 as part of the Judgment expansion for the Magic: The Gathering trading card game. This set served as the conclusion to the Odyssey block, a storyline set on the plane of Otaria where characters fought for control of the Mirari, a powerful magical artifact.
