Leap of Flame

Leap of Flame was released in the 2006 Guildpact expansion for Magic: The Gathering, the second set in the Ravnica block. This card represents the Gruul Clans, an anarchic collective focused on reclaiming the wild, and it was mechanically crafted to provide a temporary power boost and reach, fitting the aggressive and impulsive playstyle associated with the guild's color identity.

The artwork for Leap of Flame was illustrated by Matt Cavotta, a prolific artist who contributed extensively to the visual language of the game during the mid-2000s.
