What it does
Visit — Creatures you control with power 2 or less gain horsemanship until end of turn. (They can't be blocked except by creatures with horsemanship.)
Ensconced in a slow time bubble that makes a five-minute ride take nine hours, the carousel is a very popular childcare option.

Where it came from
Merry-Go-Round was released in 2022 as part of Unfinity, a Magic: The Gathering expansion set designed to explore the mechanics of silver-bordered 'un-sets' within the context of a retro-futuristic space carnival theme. The card utilizes a top-down design meant to simulate the literal experience of riding a carousel, featuring a unique 'attraction' mechanic that requires players to rotate through various carnival-themed effects over the course of a game.
The card’s whimsical aesthetic and intricate illustration were crafted to ground the set's playful nature in a vibrant, nostalgic visual language. As part of the wider Unfinity collection, it represents a departure from the traditional competitive framing of the game, receiving praise from players for its inventive use of the table space and its commitment to the flavorful, immersive storytelling of the cosmic amusement park setting.
