Nantuko Disciple

Nantuko Disciple was originally printed in the Judgement expansion of Magic: The Gathering in 2002, before being included in the Eighth Edition core set in 2003. It depicts the Nantuko, a race of insectoid humanoids native to the forest of Otaria, who are characterized by their tribal culture and connection to nature. The card was designed to support creature-heavy strategies by allowing players to pump the power and toughness of their units during combat, reflecting the Nantuko's thematic reliance on collective growth and forest-dwelling resilience.

The artwork for the card was created by artist Heather Hudson.
