One with the Multiverse

One with the Multiverse originated as a rare enchantment in the 2022 Magic: The Gathering set 'The Brothers' War'. Its design focuses on high-mana, high-impact gameplay, allowing players to cast spells from their hand without paying their mana costs and to play additional lands each turn. This card was brought into the 'Duskmourn: House of Horror' Commander set as a reprint, where it serves as a powerful utility engine within the horror-themed mechanical framework of the expansion.

The card features artwork by illustrator Johannes Voss, who utilized the set's aesthetic to evoke a sense of cosmic power and ethereal transcendence. The visual design emphasizes the theme of fracturing reality, reflecting the card's mechanical ability to manipulate the fundamental constraints of the game. Upon its release, it was noted by players for its significant impact on long-form casual games, specifically within the Commander format where its high casting cost is balanced by the potential for explosive turns.
