Pardic Collaborator

Pardic Collaborator was originally released in the 2002 Torment expansion for the Magic: The Gathering trading card game. Developed as part of the Odyssey block, the set was designed to explore themes of sacrifice and graveyard utility. The card features artwork by Christopher Moeller, who captured the chaotic, scavenger-like aesthetic of the Otarian barbarians. It was intended as a functional red creature that incentivized aggressive play by allowing players to discard cards to deal direct damage, a core mechanical identity for red cards at the time.
