It was later reprinted in the 2010 Duel Decks: Phyrexia vs. the Coalition, a product designed to dramatize the climactic conflict between the biomechanical horrors of Phyrexia and the forces of Dominaria. This specialized deck set served as both a nostalgic retrospective for long-time players and an accessible entry point for those interested in the series' most iconic interplanar wars.

The artwork for this version was provided by Brian Snõddy, an artist known for his distinct contribution to the visual language of early Magic sets. Snõddy’s portrayal of the Denouncer emphasizes the grotesque, industrial aesthetic that defines the Phyrexian aesthetic, utilizing cold, sharp lines and a color palette that evokes a sense of decay and artificial mutation. Upon its release, the card was received as a functional, low-cost utility creature, valued primarily for its ability to sacrifice itself to destroy another creature, reflecting the ruthless and sacrificial nature of its faction.
