Revel in Silence // Revel in Silence

The Strixhaven Art Series cards were introduced in 2021 as a collection of high-quality art prints on cardstock, designed to showcase the aesthetic breadth of the Strixhaven: School of Mages set for the Magic: The Gathering trading card game. Each card in this series highlights a specific illustration from the set, stripping away the game mechanics to allow the artwork to serve as the primary focus, often appealing to collectors who value the conceptual and illustrative talent behind the expansion.

The artwork for Revel in Silence was created by the artist Magali Villeneuve, whose distinct, painterly style is frequently sought after within the community. Her approach to this piece emphasizes the ethereal and academic themes inherent to the Strixhaven setting, capturing a moment of quiet intensity that complements the card's function as a commemorative art piece. Upon release, these series cards were primarily distributed through promotional set booster packs, becoming a staple for fans interested in the visual history of the game's recent expansions.
