Revitalize // Revitalize

The Revitalize card from the Strixhaven: School of Mages Art Series, numbered 64s, was released by Wizards of the Coast in 2021. The Art Series is a collection of double-faced cards that feature extended, borderless illustrations on the front, providing an unobstructed view of the artwork, while the back contains traditional artist credits and branding for the set. This specific card highlights the visual identity of the Silverquill college, one of the five distinct factions within the plane of Strixhaven, which focuses on the magic of eloquence, ink, and social hierarchy.

The artwork for this piece was illustrated by Campbell White, who utilized a stylistic approach intended to reflect the dark, sharp, and ink-based aesthetic of Silverquill. By presenting the illustration without the usual layout of a standard gameplay card, the series allows collectors to focus on the intricate brushwork and thematic symbolism inherent in the set's design. The reception of these art cards has been largely positive among collectors who appreciate the preservation of fantasy illustration outside the functional constraints of the trading card game.
