Silverblade Paladin

Silverblade Paladin was originally introduced in the 2012 Magic: The Gathering expansion Avacyn Restored. The card was designed to highlight the soulbond mechanic, which represented the deep, mystical connection between pairs of creatures. As a rare creature, it quickly became a staple in white aggressive and midrange decks due to its ability to grant double strike, a powerful combat keyword that allows a creature to deal damage twice in a single attack phase.
