Surgehacker Mech // Surgehacker Mech

Surgehacker Mech was released as part of the Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty Art Series in 2022. The card features an exclusive illustration by artist Titus Lunter, commissioned specifically to showcase the blend of traditional Japanese aesthetic and futuristic cyberpunk technology that defines the Kamigawa plane's reimagining. This series was designed to provide collectors with high-quality, frame-less depictions of key creatures and vehicles from the set, focusing on the intricate mechanical detailing and the neon-soaked atmospheric lighting characteristic of the expansion.

The artwork follows the established narrative of the set, where the ancient spirits of Kamigawa have integrated with advanced technology to form mechs. Lunter’s design emphasizes the industrial weight and glowing energy cores of the Surgehacker Mech, moving away from the standard game card template to offer a cleaner, more cinematic perspective. Since its release, the card has been sought by collectors for its role as a representative piece of the Art Series sub-collection, prized for the technical proficiency of the digital illustration and the unique identity it brings to the broader Neon Dynasty visual catalog.
