What it does
You may tap three untapped Dwarves you control rather than pay this spell's mana cost.
At the beginning of each end step, if a land you controlled was put into a graveyard from the battlefield this turn, reveal the top four cards of your library. You may put any number of Dwarf cards from among them into your hand. Put the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order.

Where it came from
The Lady of Otaria was released as part of the Dominaria United Commander set in 2022. Designed as a legendary creature for the Magic: The Gathering Commander format, the card reflects the game's ongoing efforts to integrate historical lore from the Otaria continent—a central location during the Odyssey and Onslaught blocks—into modern playstyles. The card represents a key figure in the restoration of Otaria’s mana-rich landscape, aligning with the set's broader theme of reuniting the disparate regions of the plane of Dominaria against the invading Phyrexians.
The visual identity of the card was realized by artist Donato Giancola, whose work is characterized by a blend of classical composition and fantasy sensibilities. In this depiction, the Lady is portrayed with a sense of regal authority and connection to the natural world of Otaria. The art direction emphasizes her role as a leader and protector, utilizing soft, ethereal lighting to contrast with the more militaristic themes present elsewhere in the Dominaria United release. It was received by the player base as a niche but flavorful addition to graveyard-centric strategy decks.
