Treetop Village

Treetop Village was originally released in the Urza's Legacy set in 1999, designed as a utility land that could transform into a creature, providing players with a resilient threat that evaded sorcery-speed removal. The Tenth Edition promotional version, released in 2007, featured new art by Alan Pollack. This printing was distributed as a participation reward at sanctioned tournaments, intended to revitalize interest in core set cards by updating their aesthetic to match the modern standards of the time.

The design of the Tenth Edition promo version aimed to bridge the gap between early card mechanics and the more immersive, detailed fantasy illustrations that defined the later era of the game.
