Vengeful Reaper // Vengeful Reaper

The Vengeful Reaper art card was released as part of the Kaldheim Art Series, a collection introduced by Wizards of the Coast to showcase the detailed illustrations from the 2021 expansion set. These cards were specifically produced for the collector's market, intended to present the game's high-fantasy imagery as standalone art prints without the traditional frame elements or game mechanics found on standard trading cards.

The artwork was created by the illustrator Igor Kieryluk, who focused on capturing the grim, Norse-inspired aesthetic central to the Kaldheim plane. The design emphasizes the spectral, foreboding nature of the character, utilizing a muted color palette and dynamic composition to convey a sense of movement and menace. Upon its release, the card was well-received by fans of the series for its quality of print and ability to highlight the intricate brushwork of the card's original creative vision.
