What it does
Look at the top seven cards of your library. You may put a creature card from among them onto the battlefield. Put the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order. When a creature is put onto the battlefield this way, it deals damage equal to its power to target creature an opponent controls.

Where it came from
Vivien's Invocation was introduced as part of the Core Set 2019 release in July 2018, serving as a signature card for the debut of the planeswalker Vivien Reid. The card was designed to highlight Vivien's affinity for nature and the spirits of the wild, featuring a powerful ability that allows players to look at the top of their library and put a creature card onto the battlefield.
The artwork for this promotional version was illustrated by Magali Villeneuve, a prominent artist in the fantasy gaming space known for her expressive character work. The design intent was to capture the scale of Vivien’s magic, emphasizing her connection to the massive, spectral beasts she commands. Upon release, the card was well-received by players building green-heavy decks for its utility in cheating large creatures into play, and the promo variant is particularly sought after by collectors of planeswalker-themed cards.
