Warbriar Blessing

Warbriar Blessing was released in early 2020 as part of the Theros Beyond Death expansion for the Magic: The Gathering trading card game. Set on the plane of Theros, a world heavily inspired by Greek mythology and the influence of gods upon mortals, the card was designed as a common-rarity green enchantment spell. It fits into the set's mechanical identity, which emphasizes the interaction between creatures and enchantments, reflecting the divine favor and mythological storytelling central to the plane.

The card features illustration by artist Wisnu Tan, who captured the aesthetic of a druidic or ranger-themed boon bestowed upon a warrior. The visual design highlights the nature-based power of the green mana color identity, showcasing a blend of organic vitality and combat utility. Upon its release, the card was noted by players for its efficiency in Limited formats, providing a functional way to remove opposing threats while simultaneously strengthening a creature, aligning with the strategic design goals for the set's draft environment.
