The 2018 illustration was created by artist Titus Lunter, who sought to capture the subterranean, murky atmosphere characteristic of the Dimir guild's headquarters. Lunter’s depiction emphasizes the gothic, damp aesthetic of Ravnica's undercity, moving away from the more architectural focus of previous versions to highlight the oppressive and secretive nature of the location.
