Zada, Hedron Grinder

Zada, Hedron Grinder was originally introduced in the 2015 Magic: The Gathering set Battle for Zendikar. Representing a legendary goblin ally, the character plays a central role in the resistance against the Eldrazi forces ravaging the plane of Zendikar. The card’s design centers on the unique mechanic of copying spells cast on Zada to every other creature the player controls, a high-risk, high-reward ability that solidified the character as a popular choice for Commander players looking to build synergistic, swarm-based strategies.

The Multiverse Legends version, numbered 155z, features a special stylized treatment consistent with the aesthetic framing of the March of the Machine bonus sheet. This edition honors the character's enduring legacy within the game’s narrative and mechanical history. By reimaging the original card with updated frame technology, Wizards of the Coast allowed collectors to acquire a modern, distinct iteration of a character that has become a staple of red-aligned combat decks since its debut.
