Zevlor, Elturel Exile // Zevlor, Elturel Exile

Zevlor, Elturel Exile originates from the Magic: The Gathering set Battle for Baldur's Gate, released in 2022 as part of the Commander Legends expansion series. This specific card is part of the Art Series, a collection of cards that feature full-art illustrations without the standard game frames, intended to showcase the aesthetic work of the artists who contributed to the set's Dungeons and Dragons-inspired visual identity.

The character Zevlor, a tiefling warlock, was introduced as a pivotal figure in the narrative of Baldur's Gate 3. The card art was rendered by artist Jason Rainville, who aimed to capture Zevlor's weary yet determined leadership during the crisis in Elturel. Within the community, these Art Series cards are valued primarily as collectibles for enthusiasts of the game's lore and illustration quality, rather than as functional components for gameplay.
