Zog, Triceraton Castaway // Zog, Triceraton Castaway

Zog, the Triceraton scout, was introduced during the 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series, serving as a tragic and complex antagonist who becomes an unexpected ally to the turtles. This particular trading card is part of the Art Series, a collection designed to celebrate the distinct visual identity of the franchise through curated character illustrations that emphasize the grit and aesthetic of the era's animation style.

The card features artwork commissioned to highlight Zog’s unique physiology, specifically his battle-worn armor and the cybernetic implants that define his character arc. The design team focused on creating a high-contrast, stylized look meant to appeal to both long-time fans of the Mirage Comics roots and the newer generation watching the 2003 series, resulting in a collectible that serves as a visual homage to the character’s brief but impactful narrative role.
