Angelo Maria Ricci, la sua vita e le sue opere

This scholarly volume, titled Angelo Maria Ricci, la sua vita e le sue opere, serves as a comprehensive biographical examination of the eighteenth-century Italian painter and printmaker. Published to consolidate historical documentation regarding Ricci’s artistic contributions, the text seeks to situate his work within the broader context of the period's regional art movements. It provides a detailed chronological mapping of his career, aiming to preserve the legacy of an artist whose influence was historically localized but technically significant within the tradition of Italian decorative arts.

The publication was authored by Giovanni Battista Ficorilli, a researcher focused on regional artistic lineages. In crafting this volume, Ficorilli aimed to synthesize archival findings and visual records to establish a definitive reference for students and historians of the era. The book is designed as a formal academic resource, prioritizing empirical data and critical analysis of Ricci’s style over narrative embellishment. Since its release, it has been primarily utilized by libraries and specialized art institutions to facilitate further research into the specific stylistic developments of 18th-century printmaking.
