Where it came from
Released by Hypergryph, this volume serves as an illustrative companion piece to the Arknights franchise, specifically focusing on the operator Angelina. It was produced to deepen the character's narrative, offering fans a curated look at her role as a courier and the emotional weight of her travels through the world of Terra. The collection functions as an art book and character study, moving beyond simple gameplay statistics to explore her personal history.
The visual direction emphasizes the signature aesthetic of Arknights, blending high-fantasy motifs with a gritty, modern industrial style. The illustrations are crafted by the internal art team at Hypergryph, who utilized a soft, evocative palette to distinguish Angelina’s journey from the more militaristic themes of the game’s primary plot. Upon its release, the volume was well-received by the player community for its focus on character development and the high production quality of its printed art assets.
