Brothers Conflict feat. Tsubaki & Azusa

Brothers Conflict is a long-running Japanese light novel series written by Kanase Atsuko and illustrated by Udajo, which chronicles the life of a young woman who joins a large, unconventional family of thirteen brothers. The specific volume featuring the characters Tsubaki and Azusa is part of a series of character-focused spin-offs and side stories designed to deepen the narrative arcs of individual siblings within the sprawling Asahina family dynamic. These volumes were produced to capitalize on the popularity of the series' visual novel and anime adaptations, offering fans intimate glimpses into the specific romantic tensions and personal histories of the brothers.

The illustrations for this volume were rendered by Udajo, whose distinct, lush art style became synonymous with the franchise's identity. By focusing on Tsubaki and Azusa, the volume draws on the popular fraternal twin trope, exploring their distinct personalities as voice actors and their shared affection for their step-sister protagonist. Upon release, these character-focused volumes were well-received by the dedicated otome game fanbase, who appreciated the additional lore and emotional development provided beyond the scope of the main novel narrative.
