Chocolate Cosmos

Chocolate Cosmos, or Chokorēto Kosumosu, was written and illustrated by Nana Haruta and serialized in the shōjo manga magazine Ribon between 2007 and 2008. The story centers on Sayuri Sakurai, a high school student who navigates the complexities of young love after a chance meeting with a handsome boy named Ran. Haruta created the series during the height of her popularity in the late 2000s, intending to capture the classic tropes of adolescent romance while grounding the narrative in the stylistic aesthetic common to the Ribon editorial house.
