Fire Emblem 6: Another Story - Champion's Sword

Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade, originally known in Japan as Fire Emblem: Fuin no Tsurugi, was released in 2002 for the Game Boy Advance. Developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo, it serves as the sixth entry in the long-running tactical role-playing series. The title holds historical significance as the first installment to be developed for a handheld console, marking a transition that would define the series for many years to come.

The game centers on Roy, a young noble leading an army against the expansionist Bern Empire. The narrative and design were heavily influenced by the foundation laid by Shouzou Kaga, though this entry saw the team refining gameplay systems for a portable audience. While never officially released outside of Japan, it garnered a dedicated international following over the decades, eventually seeing its protagonist, Roy, achieve global recognition through his inclusion in the Super Smash Bros. series.
