GAMERA-Rebirth- code thyrsos　Chapter 2

GAMERA-Rebirth: code thyrsos serves as the official manga adaptation and expansion of the 2023 Netflix animated series Gamera Rebirth. Published by KADOKAWA, this series seeks to reinterpret the classic Showa-era kaiju legacy for a modern audience, integrating high-stakes science fiction elements with the character-driven narratives established in the animated original. The second volume continues the serialized storytelling, further developing the confrontation between the titular monster and its legendary adversaries.

The artwork, attributed to Cambria Bakuhatsu Taro, leans into a dynamic, kinetic style characteristic of contemporary shonen manga, prioritizing intense sequences of monster combat and mechanical detail. The series was produced as part of the broader franchise revival, intended to bridge the gap between traditional tokusatsu fans and a younger demographic drawn to streaming media. Upon its release, it was received as a companion piece that deepens the lore of the Rebirth universe, specifically focusing on the internal mechanics of the Gamera project.
