Hajime's First Genderswap: Volume 4

Hajime's First Genderswap, written and illustrated by the artist known as senaka ga shiri, emerged within the prolific subgenre of adult-oriented Japanese manga centered on transformative themes. Published as part of a recurring series, this work occupies a niche space in the independent manga market, where creators often self-publish or release work through specialized labels to explore specific erotic or psychological tropes without the constraints of mainstream editorial oversight.

The series is characterized by its focus on the protagonist's physiological and social transition, utilizing the conventions of gender-bending narratives to examine identity through a lens common to the genre. The artwork adheres to established stylistic markers found in doujinshi and independent digital releases, favoring expressive character designs that prioritize emotional responses to the physical changes depicted. While the work remains largely confined to fan-focused communities, it represents the ongoing popularity of trope-driven narratives that define this corner of the manga industry.
