I Will Seduce the Male Lead for My Older Brother (Promo)

I Will Seduce the Male Lead for My Older Brother began as a promotional web novel and webtoon project, a common practice in the South Korean digital publishing industry to gauge audience interest before a full series launch. Illustrated by Yangnlam, the promo was crafted to showcase the aesthetic appeal of the webtoon format, emphasizing the vibrant, high-contrast art style that has come to define the popular isekai and romance fantasy genres. The project centers on the trope of a character attempting to navigate a dangerous narrative by manipulating the romantic interests of a male lead, a premise designed to play with readers' expectations of genre conventions.

The reception of the promo was marked by significant attention within the international manhwa community, largely due to its polished visual identity and the growing appetite for villainess-themed stories. Yangnlam’s design choices, characterized by expressive character portraits and ornate costume detailing, were intended to ground the whimsical, high-stakes premise in a visually compelling world. The promo served its purpose effectively, functioning as a bridge between the initial literary concept and the full-scale serialization that followed, highlighting the importance of visual marketing in the modern webtoon landscape.
