Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi

Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi, known in English as A Dark Rabbit Has Seven Lives, is a light novel series written by Takaya Kagami and illustrated by Yuu Kamiya. First published in 2008 by Fujimi Shobo under their Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint, the series emerged during a period of significant growth for dark fantasy light novels. The narrative centers on Taito Kurogane, a high school student who discovers his suppressed memories and a supernatural connection to a vampire, blending elements of urban fantasy, romance, and psychological drama.

The character designs and cover art were provided by Yuu Kamiya, whose distinct visual style played a pivotal role in establishing the series' aesthetic identity. Kamiya aimed for a sharp, emotive look that captured the series' balance between mundane student life and its increasingly grim, metaphysical stakes.
