Kantai Collection -KanColle- Kongou desu ga, Chinjufu no Kuuki ga Burning Love desu! (Doujinshi)

This doujinshi, titled Kongou desu ga, Chinjufu no Kuuki ga Burning Love desu!, was created by the artist Zashiki, a contributor known within the Kantai Collection fan community. Published in the wake of the franchise's rapid ascent in popularity during the mid-2010s, this work serves as an unofficial, self-published fan commentary on the character Kongou, one of the game's most iconic personified warships. The title plays on the character's signature catchphrase, reflecting the lighthearted, energetic tone often associated with depictions of the Kongou-class battleships in fan media.

The publication belongs to the vast ecosystem of Kancolle derivative works, which flourished at conventions like Comiket. Zashiki utilizes the established visual identity of the Kantai Collection character designs to craft a humorous narrative centered on daily life at the Chinjufu, or naval base. Like much of the series' doujin output, this item was intended to satisfy the desire for expanded character-driven storytelling beyond the limitations of the original browser game, and it was received as a standard entry in the extensive collection of character-focused fan anthologies produced during the height of the game's cultural influence.
