Naruto - Hajimete no Chuu (Doujinshi)

Naruto - Hajimete no Chuu is a doujinshi work created by the artist Yoshino Miri. Published during the early 2000s, this title emerged from the vibrant fan-culture scene surrounding Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto series, which gained international traction following its 1999 debut in Weekly Shonen Jump. Like many doujinshi of that era, it was produced independently for distribution at events such as Comiket, serving as an unofficial expansion of the established character dynamics popular among the fan base at the time.

The work is representative of the self-published manga movement in Japan, where artists recontextualize mainstream properties through their own stylistic lenses. Yoshino Miri’s design and illustrative approach reflected the aesthetic sensibilities common to character-driven fan fiction of the period, prioritizing intimate portrayals of canonical figures. While such works were intended for a niche audience of dedicated enthusiasts, they highlight the significant role that informal, fan-created media played in sustaining community engagement with long-running shonen franchises during the early 2000s.
