New Grappler Baki, also known as Baki the Grappler: In Search of Our Strongest Hero, was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Champion from 1999 to 2005. It serves as the direct sequel to Keisuke Itagaki’s original 1991 series, moving the narrative focus toward the underground martial arts scene and the introduction of high-stakes, hyper-violent combat encounters.
