One Piece Party

One Piece Party is a spin-off manga series that began serialization in 2014 within the pages of Saikyo Jump. Created by Ei Andou, the series was designed to offer a lighthearted, comedic perspective on the expansive world established by Eiichiro Oda in the original One Piece epic. By utilizing a distinct, super-deformed chibi art style, Andou sought to emphasize the humorous interactions and camaraderie between the Straw Hat Pirates, moving away from the high-stakes narrative arcs of the mainline series to focus on episodic, gag-driven storytelling.

The series was conceived as a celebratory companion piece, intended to provide long-time readers with a whimsical alternative to the increasingly dramatic tone of the main manga. Its reception has been largely favorable among fans who appreciate Andou's ability to maintain the recognizable personalities of the characters while adapting them to a format defined by slapstick and situational irony. As a distinct artistic interpretation authorized by the original creator, the work serves as a testament to the versatility of the One Piece universe and its capacity to sustain a wide variety of tonal explorations.
