Onihime wa Uchi no Naka

Onihime wa Uchi no Naka is a manga series written and illustrated by Utatane Yuu, first serialized in the late 2000s. The work belongs to the seinen demographic, fitting into the stylistic trends of the era that blended supernatural elements with domestic character drama. Utatane is known for a distinctive art style that leans heavily into expressive character designs, which became the central focus for this series as it explored the chaotic interactions between a protagonist and a demon girl living under the same roof.

The series was received as a niche entry within the comedic supernatural genre, reflecting the author's consistent interest in character-driven narratives set in confined spaces. While the series did not reach mainstream blockbuster status, it maintained a steady following among fans of Utatane's aesthetic. The design and narrative structure were intended to balance lighthearted humor with the inherent tension of the supernatural premise, a hallmark of the author's approach to the medium during this period.
