Post-Possession Damage Control

Post-Possession Damage Control is a web novel written by the South Korean author Tamseong. The work emerged from the highly competitive landscape of Korean digital literature platforms, where the subgenre of 'possession' stories—in which a protagonist finds themselves transported into the body of a character within a fictional world—has gained immense popularity. This title distinguishes itself within that saturated market by focusing on the pragmatic, often frantic efforts of the lead character to mitigate the chaotic narrative repercussions of the original story.

The narrative reflects contemporary trends in serialized web fiction, prioritizing rapid pacing, meta-commentary on genre tropes, and a sharp, cynical sense of humor. Tamseong crafts the series around the central conceit of damage control, transforming standard fantasy melodrama into a calculated game of risk management. It has been well-regarded by readers for its consistent subversion of expectations and its ability to balance intense stakes with the absurdities inherent in its premise.
