Project Sekai 1Koma

Project Sekai 1Koma is a series of four-panel comic strips released as part of the promotional material for the mobile rhythm game Project Sekai: Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku. These strips were created by the official development staff to provide lighthearted, supplemental storytelling that explores the daily lives and interactions of the game's various musical units. They serve to deepen the lore of the fictionalized characters while maintaining a tone distinct from the game's more serious main story chapters.

The art style of these strips is intentionally simplified and expressive, prioritizing comedic timing and character dynamics over complex illustration. By featuring chibi-inspired character designs, the 1Koma series aims to make the expansive roster of characters more accessible and endearing to the player base. These comics were initially published via the game's official social media channels, where they became a staple of community engagement, often referencing in-game events or seasonal content to keep the narrative feeling fresh and responsive to the player experience.
