Rosario to Vampire

Rosario to Vampire, created by mangaka Akihisa Ikeda, began its serialization in Monthly Shonen Jump in 2004. The series was conceived as a supernatural harem comedy, centered on Tsukune Aono, a human boy who inadvertently enrolls in a high school for monsters. Ikeda’s design approach blended traditional gothic horror aesthetics with a modern, high-energy shonen art style, resulting in a distinct visual identity that prioritized dynamic character design and elaborate transformations.

Following the conclusion of the initial series in 2007, the story continued under the title Rosario to Vampire: Season II in Jump Square.
