Suomen Tieteellisten Kirjastojen Lisaluettelo 7, 1951-1956 ... Finlands Vetenskapliga Biblioteks Accessions-Katalog ... Osa 4 ... Hakemisto, etc

The Suomen Tieteellisten Kirjastojen Lisaluettelo served as a vital bibliographic tool for the Finnish scientific community during the mid-20th century. Compiled by the Helsinki University Library, this specific volume covers the accessions from 1951 to 1956. It was produced to standardize the cataloging of international scholarly acquisitions across Finland's research libraries, providing a comprehensive index for researchers to locate foreign academic materials that were otherwise difficult to track in a pre-digital era.

This publication reflects the formal, rigorous standards of mid-century Finnish librarianship. It was designed primarily for professional utility, prioritizing clarity and systematic indexing over decorative aesthetics. Its reception was centered within the academic and library sciences sectors, where it acted as an essential reference work for faculty, students, and librarians tasked with managing the growth of institutional collections during a period of significant post-war scholarly expansion.
