Where it came from
Talking About… is a manhwa series created by the Korean artist Wann, published during a period when the Korean comics industry was actively expanding its reach through stylized, atmospheric storytelling. The series is part of a body of work that established Wann as a prominent figure in the medium, characterized by a distinct aesthetic that often blends delicate character designs with complex emotional undercurrents. It was crafted to appeal to readers looking for nuanced character dynamics and a more contemplative approach to narrative structure.
The design and artistic direction of the series reflect the influence of modern manhwa trends, prioritizing detailed linework and expressive character portraits. Wann's approach was intentional, aiming to move beyond traditional genre tropes to create a visual experience that felt intimate and grounded.
