That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime - Tensura Short Stories

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Tensura Short Stories serves as a supplemental collection to the expansive light novel series authored by Fuse. Released to expand upon the world-building of the central narrative, these stories were created to provide readers with deeper glimpses into the daily lives and interactions of characters within the Jura Tempest Federation. They capture the lighter, slice-of-life elements that the core series occasionally brushes past, offering a reprieve from the high-stakes political and military conflicts that drive the main plot.

The writing retains Fuse's signature blend of world-building and character-focused humor, maintaining consistency with the established tone of the Tensura universe. The illustrations accompanying the series are handled by Mitz Vah, whose character designs have become synonymous with the franchise's visual identity. The collection was designed to cater specifically to established fans of the light novels, receiving a positive reception from readers who appreciate the additional lore and the opportunity to spend more time with the series' large ensemble cast.
