The Daniel Family: A Genealogy of Robert Daniell and Some of His Descendants...

This genealogical record was originally compiled by Moses Grant Daniell in the late 19th century to document the lineage of Robert Daniell, a prominent figure who served as a colonial governor of South Carolina. The work serves as a foundational study for researchers tracking the movement and expansion of this family line throughout the American South and New England during the colonial period.

The text is characteristic of Victorian-era genealogical scholarship, which often sought to preserve family heritage through meticulous record-keeping of land grants, military service, and marriage alliances. As a reference volume, it remains a primary source for genealogists and historians focused on 17th and 18th-century kinship patterns, even though the modern ISBN provided reflects a digital facsimile reprint rather than the original printing.
