Theologisch-exegetisches Conservatorium oder Auswahl aufbewahrungswerther Aufsätze und zerstreuter Bemerkungen über die alt- und neutestamentlichen Religionsurkunden revidirt und mit ungedruckten Zugaben vermehrt

The Theologisch-exegetisches Conservatorium was compiled and edited by Heinrich Eberhard Gottlob Paulus, a prominent German theologian and professor of the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. Published during a period of intense theological fermentation in Germany, the work reflects the rationalist approach characteristic of the period, which sought to reconcile traditional biblical study with the emerging scientific and historical critical methods of the Enlightenment.

The collection was conceived as a scholarly repository intended to preserve significant, often scattered, essays and critical observations concerning Old and New Testament scholarship. Paulus utilized the work to curate a bridge between academic discourse and practical theology, presenting both previously published materials and original, unpublished contributions to advance his rationalist interpretive framework, a project that was deeply influential within the academic circles of his day.
