Tower of God originated as a South Korean webtoon created by the artist known as SIU, first serialized on the Naver Webtoon platform in 2010. The series follows the journey of a boy named Twenty-Fifth Baam as he navigates a mysterious, massive structure known as the Tower, attempting to reunite with his friend Rachel. Its transition from a digital serial to a print volume format was driven by the immense global popularity of the webtoon, allowing for the physical archiving of SIU’s complex world-building and increasingly sophisticated artistic style.
