The series was first serialized in 2014 by Kadokawa Shoten under their Kadokawa Beans Bunko label. It follows the story of a young aristocrat, Ritsu Wakamura, who assumes control of his family estate and finds himself paired with a new, highly capable butler named Kageyama.
