Zero Touch

Zero Touch, authored by the creator known as 汐墨 (Xi Mo), is a contemporary work that emerged within the digital-first landscape of independent web manga. Produced during a period of rising interest in introspective, minimalist storytelling, the volume reflects a shift toward character-driven narratives that emphasize silence and psychological tension over conventional action sequences. The work is characterized by clean line work and a deliberate use of negative space, aiming to capture a sense of modern isolation that resonates with younger, urban-dwelling readers.

The design of the volume mirrors its thematic commitment to minimalism, often featuring stark typography and restrained cover art that contrasts with the more ornate aesthetic common in mainstream publications. Critical reception has largely focused on its atmospheric quality and the author's ability to communicate complex emotions through subtle visual cues. By stripping away extraneous decorative elements, the physical publication functions as an extension of the story’s minimalist ethos, positioning it as both a piece of entertainment and an artifact of intentional graphic design.
