Zoids Wild 2

Zoids Wild 2 is a manga series authored by Moricha, serving as a continuation of the Zoids Wild franchise which revitalized the long-running motorized model kit property. It was serialized in Shogakukan's CoroCoro Comic, following the narrative established by the original Zoids Wild storyline, and was designed to integrate directly with the new generation of Takara Tomy model kits. The manga functions as both a narrative expansion and a promotional vehicle for the series' mechanical designs, emphasizing the bond between pilots and their mechanized organic creatures.

The artistic direction by Moricha leans into a high-energy, shonen-style aesthetic, focusing on dynamic action sequences and detailed depictions of the Zoids' transformation capabilities. The series was produced during a period of transition for the franchise, aimed at capturing a younger audience while maintaining the core appeal of tactical, modular battle mechanics. It was generally received as a faithful expansion of the Zoids Wild world, balancing character-driven drama with the technical specifications of the associated hardware.
